There are several things about her pregnancy that make me roll my eyes.
I love that show, but come on.
And now I am running from this post because I am DVRing the episode to watch later w/ DH. (Later meaning sometime next week when we get a second of peace).
I haven't watched tonight's episode yet but I was laughing a little at her random BH contractions last week...
Did anyone watch the season finale of Better With You? I had to turn it off after the 9 months pregnant main character went running into the hospital after her water broke in the tallest platform wedges I've ever seen. I mean, didn't we all show up for labor with a fresh blow-out, a fitted maxi dress, and high heels?
So, Angela's water broke and she immediately screams "HERE WE GOOOOOO!!!!" like she's been hit by a wall of contractions.
Now that I've been through this process, I know that is sooooooo not how it goes - and it makes me giggle
That's how it went for me. I was having what felt no more than normal BH contractions. Then I heard a pop and my contractions immediately got 10x more intense. My contractions were immediately 2 minutes apart or less.

Yeah, I have to laugh now at all the sitcom PG stuff. For example, on Glee, Quinn went into labor right after the glee club performed at regionals. Somehow, the entire team goes to the hospital with her, she delivers while the next group performs, and her teammates make it back in time for the announcement of the competition results. Um, I've heard of some quick labors before, but that is ridiculous! I know things have to be accelerated to fit into the time slot of the show, but come on!

Holy cow!! That's insane, and so Hollywood!
I was laughing at Angela and Hodgins in the episode, they were totally panicky-screamy parents in the delivery room. I looked at DH and said, "Aren't you glad I wasn't freaking out like that?" He just gave me a blank stare. I think he's still traumatized from all those episodes of One Born... that I used to make him watch with me
