I posted part of this on 12-24 -
I bought my first box of BJs brand diapers about 2 weeks ago. I came across a defective diaper (the tab was sealed to the diaper, so there was no way to attach the side). I didn't think anything and threw it out.
Well now it has happened about 10x now. I started saving the diapers after I got 3 defective ones.
So what do I do? Do I wait til I finish all the diapers and then complain? Do I bring the stash of defective diapers to the actual store? Call?
The box says something about calling customer service but part of the "message" got ripped off the box when I removed the tape, and then it says something about getting a refund if I'm not happy. But is that not right to finish the entire box and then ask for a refund? I don't necessarily want an entire refund, but if I end up with like a dozen or 20 defective diapers, then it costs me more than Pampers!
Re: BJs Wholesale brand diapers question
BJ's backs there products 100%. Take the box of what is left to the desk in store and they will refund your money. If you have your receipt the will give you how you paid, no receipt gets store credit.
I wanted to try them and called for a sample. They said they didn't have samples and to just buy a box....if I didn't like them I could return them.
This exact same thing happened to us. We used about half of one of the sleeves in the big box and I took them back. I asked the guy at the customer service counter if they've had other returns due to a defective batch possibly and he said no, he never sees them come back. I was shocked but didn't want to give up on their brand because I've used them for so long and never had a problem in the past and at this point I like them so much better than any other brand.
So I got a new box and have not had another problem since.
By any chance was it size 4? I still think they must have done a faulty batch or something. You post just confirms that for me!
They gave me no issue at all with exchanging them though.
