Actually I think I'll be headed Ohio way that weekend to go camping with my husband and three hounds.

Twelve plus hours with three dogs in the car by myself. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

I tried to make bratwurst once and it was a miserable failure.

I think you should make it and I will come over.

Bratwurst is so good!  I've never made it myself, but had it via both my mom and MIL. 
You could also do ribs?  On the grill or the crock pot...
