My DH makes too much money and we will have to pay for the therapies if they are necessary. The twins are only behind on one category (social) and are not that far behind. I have an appointment for tomorrow morning for their free eval, but I am wondering if it is only free once? If so, I would rather wait until I truly see worrisome milestones.
Is this ok, or should I just ge the evsal and watch their milestones in the upcoming months?
Also if you did not qualify, how much were the therapies if your LO needed them? (I have UHC, did your insurance cover much? We have already hit our out-of-pocket max for the year, and have a 80/20 plan.) TIA
Re: Anyone not qualify for First Steps?
In our state, it's $100 a month if you don't qualify financially. This is for as many services/sessions as you need (OT, PT, speech, etc.).
