Garden!

I just got my garden in!  Every year we have a huge garden, actually 2 gardens that equal 2 acres!  This year with the baby and horrible weather in WI we haven't been as early as usual.  I also spoke with my husband and it is the first year the I get my own plot for McKenna!  I plan on growing her 1st foods as organic as possible and freezing them so she has fresh veggies all winter!

I planted organic carrots and peas, regular peas, beans, carrots, lettece, zuccini, and tomatoes.  We also planted potatoes and corn in my husbands plot.  We have to separate because he uses sprays for bugs and weeds and I plan on going as organic as possible.

I can't wait to take photos as her garden grows!

That's so exciting! I don't have a garden, but our neighbor has a huge garden and he said I could come take what I needed. I also plan on making my own baby food, so this is perfect.

I can't wait to see pictures!!

That's awesome! I have a tiny garden at the side of my house but I haven't had a chance to plant anything. Last year we had eggplant, tomatoes, all kinds of peppers, basil, cilantro, and a bunch of other herbs. I hope I can get around to it again this year.
