I haven't figured it out. Please help. Lot's of details please.
My IVF twins born at 33w6days by c-section due to twin A being IUGR
Rylan born at 2:54pm weighing 2lb 8oz, 14.5 inches
Emma born at 2:55pm weighing 5lb 5oz, 18 inches
either way, invest in an EZ2Nurse pillow. the babies lay on each side of the pillow and then you can feed them however you want. i used the pillow for nursing, my husband used it for bottle feeding.
lots of people use bouncers and boppies...i dunno, the pillow just made it so simple.

Not sure if you mean breast or bottle feeding.... For bottle feeding, I put them in their bouncy seats facing me, sit between them and hold a bottle in each hand. About halfway through, I stop, burp one then the other, then finish up. Takes about 15 minutes.
for bottle feeding i would put them propped up on pillows or in a bopy pillow or in their seats. and just sit and hold the bottles. when i was BFing i would do the football hold. i put a nursing pillow around my stomach and pillows under each of my elbows and held each baby head first feet behind me one on each breast and had DH help me latch them both on. it hurt like hell for the first 2 weeks but after that they started to heal but i did that for 4.5 months.

they are starting to get to big to do this, but I stick them both in the same boppy and then I can hold both bottles in the same hand. I like having a free hand if I need it.
Livian Elizabeth and Alayna Marjorie! On their way to 3!
I've done it a few ways, you'll have to experiment to see which way works best for you. I've laid them both on my Ez2 nurse pillow and held each bottle with each hand (works the same for BF?ng) I've laid them both on my lap and held bottles with seperate hands, and I've also propped both and held the bottles as well as propped one and held the other.

Try not to feed them both at the same time. Put them on a schedule a 1/2 hr apart from eachother. Even if that means waking one up on purspose to feed them a 1/2 hr before you wake the other or think the other will get up. Take care of one and by the time you've finshed and gotten her settled back down the other one will be just getting ready for you. That's what the nurses at the NICU did for my sons and it made it easier when they came home.

I prop mine up on a couch pillow with couch on one side and my leg on the other to make sure they don't fall off. It works really well and the couch pillow was already paid for. Just a warning though - they do sometimes dribble on the pillow, so I wouldn't use one you care about getting messed up.
Well with breast I used a boppy pillow and did the football hold where their feet were at my back and heads at breast. I usually sat on the edge of the couch then I didn't have to hold both because the arm rest helped hold one. With bottle my DH had them in their chairs and held the bottle do NOT prop up bottle, and burped them half way through.
Boppy Pillows worked best for us! I (or DH) am able to feed them at the same time, and then turn them over on the Boppy and pat their backs to burp them. It works really well for us. I am going to wait another month or so before I put them in their bouncy chairs to feed them.
In the early days I couldn't feed them both at the same time. My kids were high maintenance eaters. They sputtered, they forgot to breathe, they spit up a ton, it just wasn't possible. I had them on schedules 30 minutes apart and honestly, it was nice to spend that one on one time with each baby. Around 5 months they got to be better eaters. I would put one on my knees in front of me, and the other in a boppy to the side and feed them that way.
I was a fan of the double boppy method. Started out doing it on the floor and then worked up to doing it on the couch. I started them both at the same time, and then when it was time to burp (about every oz) I'd give one the paci while the other was burped, then swap, then keep feeding.
By 4.5 months they were getting a bit big for the couch and my back couldn't take the floor, so I tried giving them their bottles in their high chairs. It worked GREAT and that's where I tandem bottle feed now.
Here is what the double boppy method looked like for us. They were about 2 months here and I was in my bed and I would stuff a blanket or burp cloth to keep them from sinking down the center of the boppy.
I am using one hand b/c the other is holding my phone to take the picture. I used this method until they could sit in the bouncy seats then we switched to that.
Re: how do you feed newborn twins at the same time

This is exactly what I did.
