"Linkedin founder Reid Hoffman is now worth $1.8 billion and CEO Jeffrey Weiner is worth $213 million, based on the company?s current stock price..."
And that was when it was trading at $92. Not a bad day for those guys, either
Is this officially the first social media media to go public? Or are there others? ETA: Looks like Vios and a Latino Facebook called Quepasa are publicly traded, and that's an old article.
I am just waiting.. WAITING.. for the Facebook IPO. I've got play funds set aside for it and everything. *itches* I'm still pissed about not getting into Google's a few years back.
I hadn't been paying attention to the LinkedIn one.. I vaguely remember reading about it a couple of weeks ago, noting to look at it again, and then forgetting about it. pfft.
My dad went to HS with Bill Gates, and my parents bought a very small amount of MS stock waaaaay back when. They sold it to pay bills before it was worth much, and kicked themselves ever since....
Re: All I can think about today.....
