Anyone have ParaGard?

Does anyone have this type of IUD?  I have an appointment to get it next month.   Just wondering how long to expect the bleeding after?  We're suppose to go to Crescent Bar for a long weekend 2 weeks after and I'm nervous now!  Thinking of bumping the appointment till after.

I do.  I had light bleeding but if I remember correctly it only lasted a few days, maybe a week at the most.  And I didn't really have any cramping or discomfort either.  

I know everyone is different, but I would think you'd be ok two weeks after.

I had light to regular period bleeding for about 10 days and some cramping just the first few days.  Some of my girlfriends had heavy, painful cramping for a couple of weeks afterwards though.  I personally would wait just in case because I never want anything to get in the way of my time off!

With insertion I didn't have any bleeding - not even light.  BUT I had this weird "poking" feeling the first month we would have sex.  And that killed the mood fast.
