Girl, I hear you! I was just thinking last night how when I used to come to this board in the beginning, I'm talking like '04-'05 here, I would walk away for a minute and there would be a whole new page of posts. Now, there are times where the same posts are on the main board for 2 days. Seriously, I blame the Nest/Bump, if they didn't make so many GD spinoff boards, there might still actually be people here. I certainly understand the need for some of the Speciality Boards, but some of them are just freaking overkill.

I'm sure no one's surprised as I've voiced my opinion on this many times, but I completely agree with mominator. I mean, nothing we can do about it now, but the 4 million boards they have on here is so annoying. I mean, back when it was BOTB and Parenting, people posted on the respective boards and it was busy. People who didn't have kids yet (along with those who did) posted on ML, etc. Every time there's a new board, there are people who still can't identify with those people on the board, and they're bitter about it, so they demand their own board.

Yup, this board hasn't been close to active for about a year or more. It has always been my home board, so I always come back to it. Now I just visit the age month boards for my entertainment.

Boo!  Now I'm totally forced to come over here more bc you deactivated facebook.  But you are right, it's just so boring!  That's why I even forget to come over here.  Got out of the habit out of boredom.
