NTR - Initial Outfitters Consultant

Hi ladies.  I just became a consultant for Initial Outfitters (www.initialoutfitters.net/awesome) and am hoping there might be some Avon/Mary Kay/Southern Living/etc. reps out there who have some tips on getting started.  I guess I am not really sure how to offer people I know parties without sounding like I am pushing my products on them.  I get that the free hostess gifts are a good tool, but I still feel a little weird asking friends.  Any tips?

    Its hard to get started, I sell tastefully simple products and have started by asking friends and they have mostly been willing,..also facebook  has helped me get people interested, i dont know if your products have a link with facebook but tastefully simple does so you can advertise right on facebook.  

    good luck, gettign started is the hard part and it is definitely better to start with your friends.  Good luck!!!
