Brazilian. I haven't had "down there" hair in years. I cannot imagine having pubic hair, like at all.
But having said that. If you aren't going to maintain (or if it isn't for a special trip/occasion) I may just go regular bikini. Totally my 2 cents. But I do think everyone needs to have it done once in their life.
I would do a brazilian but have her leave a strip or something if you want it. The reason I say this is that I've had bikini waxes where they literally just do the front-sides. I guess I'm a hair mofo because I have more hair that would show if I wore a bikini other than the front-sides.
I currently shave it all, and hate shaving. So, I'd love the benefit of not having to shave. I'd just scared of the pain...and the after bumps.
Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate to prevent ingrown hairs. My lady uses a hard wax (no waxing strip involved) and it just sticks to the hair, not the skin. So much better, IMO.
The pain gets less and less every time. I am a pain WIMP, but it only lasts like a second and then it's done in my experience.

odd question, but with what?
not odd at all=) I use a washcloth and some St. Ives sand scrub. They also have exfoliating gloves, you can use a loofah (but I am weird about loofahs..lol)
Brazilian all the way. I just had my first one 3 weeks ago and it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated it to be. And one of my BFF's did it for me. I'm going back next week for another one. DH was over the moon about it! I think I'm addicted!

This. It is REALLY not bad, and so worth it.

You girls are brave. I would be so embarrased to show my post baby chacha.
This!!! I'd do it but the thought of showing that all to some stranger freaks me out. I am avoiding making my annual GYN appt because I have to talk to her about post-baby hemhorroids and I'm freaked.

I don't get bumps from waxing but totally do when I shave. Take an advil before you go and they will have numbing cream if you think you need that.
