Kate or Kellly for middle name? Clicky

What do you prefer for a middle name? Kate or Kelly?

We are also kind of debating between the first name for Gianna or Jillian....We have been dead set on Gianna for awhile now, but it doesn't hurt to second guess yourself a little bit!

I love the name Giana but Kelly is a dated name IMO. I voted for Giana Kate.

Good point! Jillian Kelly is alot of "L's".

We just really like the name Kate for middle but Kelly is a family name that has been in the family for the past few generations.

Jillian Kate is so sweet! I like the look of Jillian Kelly, but not so much the sound of it. I think of Gianna as an essentially Italian name... like Angelina, Donata, or Antonella. I would assume the child was Italian.

I do love Jillian Kate...It is super sweet and it is kind of more "american". We don't have any italian heritage, but that doesn't matter to much to me...

I voted for Jillian Kelly because while I love Kate, I think it's too nicknamey on its own. I see that Kelly is a family name so all the more reason to go with it

I love both of your first names. Gianna is NMS, but that's because I tend towards more Irish/English names and tend to think of Gianna as Italian. That being said - both very pretty. For your middle names, I prefer Katherine or Catherine to Kate. (Just me being traditional/conservative). LOVE Katherine though. Kelly is nice, not too dated, but it seems a bit much to have both the FN and MN w/ double letters ~ somehow it effects the flow of the full name.
