switching nipple size for bottles?

Hey! So baby is going on 4 months now, and thus far we have been using slow flow nipples on his bottles. Lately when giving him his bottles he seems to be flattening out the nipple so its taking him longer to finish a bottle. So my question is....does that mean its time to move up to a medium flow nipple?

I use Dr. Brown bottles and we switched to level 2 at 2 months. I would say that your baby is definitely ready for the medium speed at 4 months.

We use Dr Brown's and switched to Level 2 at the 3+ months listed on the pack.

We switched to level 2 nipples at about 4 months. I think he is probably ready for them now. I think most of them say 3-6 months or around there. Give it a try & see how he does.
