I don't even want to really talk about it but think we might be an ivf success story. First beta was 86 and today it's up to 225. Yeah for doubling numbers!
Freaked out because I have low progesterone and have had brown spotting but Dr. Vaughn assures me I should not worry and it is quite normal. Easier said than done. Anyone had spotting early on and been a-okay (I need to stay away from google)?
I know it's a long road ahead but today we are pregnant... and for the past two years we've never been able to make that happen. I've waited a long time to say BFP!

Congrats!! TONS of people have had early spotting and been just fine, myself included. A friend of mine actually had very heavy bleeding (hemorrhage) her entire first tri and now her son is a 9 month old, healthy, giant baby.
I know you've waited so long for this. I'm really happy for you.

I had spotting at close to 6 weeks, and then full-on bleeding at 12 weeks with Griffin, and both times we went in to the doctor's office and found that all was well.

positive for ANAs (1:40) with a speckled pattern
MTHFR c677t mutation (heterozygous)
*folic acid, baby asprin, Prometrium, acupuncture, Lovenox*
BFP @ 9dpo 2.1.2012 || HCG = 8 : Progesterone = 19.2
2nd HCG @ 11dpo = 40 || 3rd HCG @ 21dpo = over 5000!

Spotting isn't uncommon so try not to freak out too much (I know that is difficult!). I have spotted on and off for this whole pregnancy.
Congrats!! I had spotting during most of my first trimester... from about week 3 (before I even knew I was pregnant) until about week 8. I will be 11 weeks in two days, and all is still well
I made the mistake of reading about spotting on the internet and freaked myself out - so don't do that! My Dr. had a fit when I told him I had been looking on the internet. LOL He said so many women have spotting during the first trimester and have completely healthy babies.
