perhaps a poll asking for another date in the near future and turn it into a fundraiser for Cookie1&2?  It was/is a great idea, my May is just FULL.  Seems like everyone I know has a birthday this month!

I am so sorry this didn't work out.  I know you put a ton of effort and energy into this and it is something that would have been very beneficial for the bobcats.

Me too. I have a b-day party to attend as well; otherwise, I would be there.

A big thanks to LA for putting so much of her time and effort into this and a big thanks to everyone else for the thoughts, prayers, donations, meals, etc. that have been provided to us in the past.

There are no hard feelings at all. I actually had some guilt about the fundraiser (I have an issue with guilt anyway) because I know that other people may need the money more than us. If we have to make payments on our medical bills for a while, we'll do that, but we're not in danger of losing our house or anything.

I'm glad to hear that things aren't too dire for you guys & wish you all continued good health, etc.

I think Joyce has a great idea - I'm happy to contribute/participate to another family in need.

For those that are now free on Sunday, there's a benefit for a 4 year old boy with brain stem cancer in Buda at Painted Horse Pavilion from 1-5. It's $20 and includes a meal and concert by Jason Allen, Doug Moreland, and others.

I'm sorry about that.  Originally I had planned on going, but then the Baccalaureate services had been moved up a week, and being the class sponsor--and being the liason, I have to go to the services.  I was hoping y'all would be able to raise some money for her.

I appreciate the thoughts, but there are many other people who would be more deserving of this than me!  We are just fine.  Crappy medical bills, but MIL is in town to help.
