Is this normal? re: poop

V has pooped 5 times in the past 36 hours.  She normally poops once a day.  We've been feeding her some more puffs and purees at her feedings (2x daily) but I don't think it's enough to make her poop that much more.  The poop has been normal consistency (not watery or funky).  Should I be concerned?

When we transitioned DD to solids, she pooped WAY more than usual for about a month. Her poop also changed in texture and smell....

I wouldn't be concerned. Even if it was a little soft, babies get minor infections that work themselves out without any intervention. Now if you're at all concerned she may be getting dehydrated, here's a great resource of what to look for and when to seek care

You're so lucky to have a once a day pooper!!! Emily poops like 3-5 times a day on a normal basis. Of course she also eats more in a day that her sister did in a week so, uh, it has to come out somewhere.

Oh and some types of foods (like prunes as the extreme example) do pass through the system faster than others.

Yep. Solids are no fun to deal with poop-wise.
