*MrsD1*

I've noticed your posts the past couple of days about your DD not sleeping well at night in her bassinet. Any luck last night? Did you/are you going to get the RnP sleeper?

Same ol' for us last night. We laid Claire in her bassinet when she was sound asleep. Within minutes she was awake and screaming. After a lengthy attempt to get her to go back to sleep, I moved to the recliner and she slept on my chest like a rock all night. I am glad to get sleep, but I miss my bed!! Still looking for the right answer... and thinking of trying the RnP, but am nervous about the flat head issue.

No luck last night. Sad I got zero sleep. I finally just got up around 7 so at least DH could get some sleep. He took this week and next off from work so we've been rotating naps during the day.

Claire sounds a lot like Gabriella. I can rock or breastfeed her to sleep, put her in the bassinet (which is right by our bed) and within minutes she is crying and screaming.

We didn't get the RnP sleeper yet. I think it's more of an issue with her wanting to be right next to us at night. I might try sleeping on the recliner tonight. DH wants to stick with the sleeping in shifts.

Nights are so depressing these days. I wonder how long this will last?

I'm interrupting your conversation. Cora is the same way--she does sleep a whole lot better in the RnP sleeper. We haven't used it at night because of some of her preemie issues but during the day its the best place for her to sleep. If you put an extra blanket underneath, it makes the bed a little softer so you don't have to be so worried about the flat head issue. And chances are your LOs will start sleeping better before its a problem.
