DS's reading ability has suddenly jumped significantly and he wants to read all the time. He is going through books faster than we can get to the library to check out new ones. I'm really excited for him since I've always been an avid reader. Besides his teacher, where can I find recommended reading lists by reading level?
Re: Recommended Reading Lists
I like to look at homeschool programs that are known for having good literature selections. Sonlight is one that immediately comes to mind. I'll check out their reading lists for any given grade and use those as a guide the next time I go to the library. For example, here's their 2nd grade reading list:

ETA: I also really like the selections this site offers:

I just use these sites for the reading lists and ignore any of the stuff that doesn't pertain to me (the religious overtones, curriculum guides for sale, etc.)
Thanks, these look like great resources!
If you have trouble with the second link I posted try this instead:

The scholastic website has lots of good stuff on it.
Cleo -- your sites look great, thanks, I bookmarked them!
