did you get 2 rockers?

We are considering getting a second rocker for both dd and ds room.  I rock dd before bed and naps (only a few minutes).  is it worth it to get another rocker?  What did you do?

I think we might get just a regular old fashioned rocking chair for DD's new room.  I only rock her a bit too and we read books before naps/bedtime...but don't need the cushioned kind of rocker we have in the nursery.

Yep, both boys have rockers in their room. We snuggle and read a lot there, too.

Our babies share a room and we only have one glider.  DD2 slept in our room for the first 4.5 months of her life, and then in our spare room for another month.  I just made do without it.  Though I can see the appeal of two, if they are in different rooms.

I did.  I still rock DD and read her bedtime stories, and wasn't about to give that up.  I cherish those moments!!

So glad to read that we will not be the only ones doing this!

Granite I did decide to go way cheaper and get a glider from Walmart this time. But we will put that one in DD's room and move the comfy one into the new baby's room since I'll be spending more time rocking in there once he comes!

I totally agree. And it's not #1's fault that we decided to procreate again so soon! Same reason I didn't move #1 from her crib either.
