  • Sorry computer on the fritz!

Back to what I was saying I have no idea how I havent seen this until now but I must  say this ticks me off. How can you say that about your baby? I have told LO to stop being bratty if shes bruising my ribs but I would never call her a b*tch. Thats verbal abuse and shes not even here!

  • My DD was a major biitch too.  She had the nerve to give me morning sickness that lasted all day every day for 3 months.  Then she decided not to flip around the right way and forced me into a c/s delivery.  Then when she was born completely healthy, with all 10 fingers and toes?  I was outraged!

    /sarcasm

For real?  You need to grow the fvck up real quick.  So many other women out there go through a shiit ton more than "WAAAH my baby's too high and I'm not getting induced tomorrow!"  If you were looking for a pity party, you sure as hell aren't going to find one here.

  • Wow, b*tch doesn't even begin to describe that gem of an unborn child you are carrying.  Making you miserable for all these months, plus she has the nerve to purposely put you at risk for a c-section.  I can't believe she won't put her head in the right spot -- seriously, she should know better!   She'll probably be a spiteful b*tch and come on one of those inconvenient days too.  I'm so sorry you have to deal with this.

I don't know how far along you are but I am 100% in the 'get it out of me!' camp. I am avoiding phone calls at home because I don't want to talk to anyone about it, I cry half the time when I walk past my little boy's room- I am tired, I am hormonal, but I am not angry and not about to call a fetus names (though I did jokingly call him a 'stupidhead' to DH).

You're lucky to be having a baby. Take a nap. Eat some chocolate. Then give your belly a rub and apologize.

Nice "high road" post. Your last paragraph made me smile :)

  • Dying to know how far along you are.  Agree with PP who just wants a good laugh if you are 36 weeks.  There are women on here who have been through faaaar worse so I sure hope you aren't looking for anyone to jump in on the pity party.

I think b!tch is a bit strong for an inside baby just because her head isn't engaged.

    Klassy.

I call me baby a little sh!t sometimes, like when she kicks my ribs or my bladder. I'm just playin though.

  • This post should be an Instant Bump Classic! Re-run this sh!t on slow days like old games on ESPN.

You and your husband are a match made in heaven.  You both need some pretty hard core reality checks.  Neither of you are nearly as important as you would each like to believe.

I truly want to believe that she said it flippantly and was just trying to be funny. I don't find it at all funny in any way shape or form but not everyone has a klassy sense of humor like she does. I guess that's my fail.

I don't think I'd ever go as far as to call LO a b!tch, I say lil sh!t lovingly. I also call my dogs and cat lil sh!ts when they act up. I don't think she has given a reason that would justify her calling LO a b!tch, or how it could be construed as funny. I just love the pot stirring this did. It livened up out lil board.

  • You seriously make me sick. And I feel so bad for your unborn child, she deserves so much better than you.

How dare you, have some decency!

  • I am 40 weeks and am not meaning B**** in a literal mean way. I am meaning in a sarcastic way.  I would never literalIy verbally abuse my kids. I have 2 boys and have had a lot of bad stuff happening over the year.  I have only gained 16 lbs and had a really tough and emotional pregnancy.  As far as engagement of the head, I wasn't calling her that because of that.  (more along the lines of acting like a stubborn little one. lol) gosh people go overboard.  I think all of us at 40+ are drained and ready to br done with it, right?

Oh well as long as you meant b!tch in a sarcastic way then it is totally ok to call your kids that.  Sorry we went so overboard.

    Tongue Tied

And yes, I mean this in a sarcastic way.

  • Humming School House Rock tune with a twist...

    "Dysfunction Junction, what's your function?"

Your baby is a sweet innocent gift!  I'm sorry you're uncomfortable, but it's just one of those things that come with being a mother.  It will all be worth it when she's born and in your arms.  Count your blessings and then count all her sweet little toes and fingers.

Huh.  I'm at 40+ weeks, and am very ready to have an outside baby, but someone I don't think that calling my fetus a b**** will make her want to come out and meet me anytime soon...
