I do not have massive point aspirations, I'm just curious.  Let's just say I was about 19 years away from my first nesticle in the old format...

I don't know how the points are calculated, but it's not just per post. I've noticed that people with very similar post counts can have pretty different points.

I've wondered this same thing based on what pp said that people w/ similar posts can have way different points.

I would guess so since it doesnt seem to have any real corrolation to number of posts exactly. I was even wondering if you get more points for starting posts that get stars, etc. It may be a very complicated secret formula....
