1st and 2nd labors

I am curious to see if your water broke with your 1st... did it with your 2nd as well.

Was your 1st early, on time, or late? What about 2nd?

Overdue and induced with both:(. Iam doing everything in My power to try to get into labor on my own this time...I want it so bad!!

My first was born at 35 weeks, my water broke....my second I started having contractions every minute at 32 weeks, put on mag to stop in the hospital for a week, then on bedrest until my water broke at 37 weeks. My doctor said I would be treated differently this time because I would probably go even earlier....

My water broke with my first but not my second. I had my first at 37w3d and my second at 38w3d.

I also had a longer labor with my second, she was a bit smaller than my first and I had a 2nd degree tear with my second and only a 1st degree tear with my first. I went against all the "rules" of 2nd labors/babies!

Both were early. DS was 38w5d. DD was 38w2d.

Water broke at home with first. Had to be broken in hospital with second.

My water didnt break each time, but I went into labor 5 days early with DS and 10 days early with DD. I pushed for 2 hours with DS, and 5 pushes with DD....they were about a pound difference in weight though.

With #1, my water broke while I was pushing. She came right on time. DD2 was four days early, and my water never broke. She was born in the caul! I went into labor on my own both times.

First 38w, labor just started

Second 36w, water broke, then labor started

1st, 10 days late, induced.

2nd, induced 1 week early due to kidney stones 4x's in 2nd tri 'causing daily contractions from week 27 on. At the end I was at about 30 contrax a day & in so much pain my dr. just put me out of my misery LOL.

I'm hopeful that this time I go into labor on my own, I'd like to know what it feels like rather then having pitocin do it for me.
