Update to "Need advice on OB/midwife"

Everyone's advice was incredibly helpful - i contacted the midwife care associates group that delivers at Shady Grove and works with Dr. Simmonds and their receptionist was great at answering a lot of questions and setting me up for an appointment. I'll have my first appointment with them on May 27th (almost 31 weeks but they did not have any issues with that)! I feel really, REALLY good about my decision and feel like a tremendous weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you all again!

Glad you feel relieved about your decision.  You deserve to able to focus on the excitement  of your baby's arrival instead of any apprehension during your third trimester.  If it works out with the MCA, I'll be very interested in your birth story since I'll be following in your footsteps a few months later.
