Nasal congestion remedies?

I know it's been asked a million times over, but I'm at a loss. A has had a stuffed up nose for a few days and I can't get it to break up. We've done steamy showers & sitting in a steamy bathroom, vapor rub, and allergy meds. 

Anything else I can do or give him to help break it up? Poor kiddo starts out great at school then when I pick him up they tell him how miserable he's been looking and feeling 'cuz he can only breathe thru his mouth.

neilmed has a pediatric nasal/sinus rinse.  it works wonder for Jay.  it might help, or even just a little ones nasal saline spray?

I agree with saline spray. Does he have allergies? If so maybe something for that would help.

Thanks for the saline suggestion...while he is on Claritin reditabs I think we might also need to check into a nasal spray for him. Poor kid is snoring so loud I have to turn down the monitor

saline drops and suction ... dd has the same problem, she gets all congested at night b/c she's asleep then in the morning its got to come out somehow so i put a few saline drops in there to break it up and then suction it out. it's made a world of difference for us and the bonus ! she's no longer 'sickl every more at 10a at daycare
