Has anyone tried to create a playgroup?

I have 6 month old twin boys and live in San Jose, CA

    I'm not sure of any specific play groups, but I know that we have gtgs (IKEA in E. Palo Alto this friday at 1) and they happen organically after that.

    No playgroups that I know of but there is a facebook group where some of the local moms will post impromptu activities that you can join in
