$98 each way on Southwest to San Diego

Good deal or should I wait?  I have been looking for the last 3 wks because of a possible conference I would attend in August.  I don't have too much flexibility d/t conference dates and expense, but wondering if I should book or wait.

Do you travel SWA frequently?  That's not great, but not terrible.  Personally, I'd book (as 2 one ways) and keep an eye on it and re-book as it goes lower.  I just paid $69 each way SJC-SAN

We also just paid $69 each way over Memorial Day weekend. SW prices seem to be going up though as a whole. I ditto Mrs. BoomBoom- buy the tix now and when the prices drop, cancel & rebook with the credit. The only thing about that is if you don't fly much, an airfare credit might be of no help to you.

If it were me, I'd book now. That's not the best deal I've ever seen but not the worst either. What would be the deciding factor for me is that the date is non-negotiable. The nice thing about SW is that they seem to have the most flights from here to there so if something happens to your flight, you can catch another one pretty easily.
