Weird TMI Question

Does lube expire? I found a bottle of lube while i was cleaning out some shelfs and I was thinking about, um, using it tonight. I have no clue how old it is. What do you think, still good or you wouldn't risk it?

    I'm overly cautious so if I thought it was more than a couple years old, I would toss it. Is it water-based? Maybe those last a little longer? I really have no clue...try google maybe.
