Best part about being a mom? When everyone is holding her and she gets so upset, then they hand her to me and she stops being fussy. I love that she knows it's me without me even talking to her!
This week we: Went shopping at a local mall and she HATED it! I guess she needs to get her Mom's shopping gene!

Best part about being a mom? I love it when she stares in my eyes as she eats. It makes me feel like she really needs me.

Milestones you think LO is close to: Rolling over. Probably not, but he really rocks when he's laying down and his big head has almost pulled him over more than once!
Sleeping (long stretches, STTN etc): 2 hour nap during the day, 4 hour stretches at night.
Favorite activity/toy: Eating/the boob. He has little interest in anything else.
Best part about being a mom? Spending all day with the little guy
This week we: Are going to learn to use the Moby and ring sling if it kills me!

Breast or Bottle?: sadly bottle.
Clothes Size: shockingly, even being born at 9 lbs, 2 oz he is still in newborn. He dropped to 8 lb 4 oz and at 2 weeks still wasn't at birth weight. I tried him in a bunch of my 0-3 and he looked ridiculous!
New Milestones: Yesterday was the first time he took a bath and didn't make a peep! We've officially gone from hating baths to loving them.
Milestones you think LO is close to: I kid you not, rolling over! He rolls over and hangs out on his side all the time. He is STRONG- that's the one thing that everyone who holds him comments on. When he's on our shoulder he holds his head straight up. Tummy time he pushes up and holds his head off the ground.
Sleeping (long stretches, STTN etc): Generally he sleeps for 3-4 hour stretches at a time. He's STTN a few times and occasional 5 hour stretches aren't uncommon. He generally is a lazy baby which is great!
Favorite activity/toy: Eating! He has started paying attention to rattles and toys in front of his face though.
Best part about being a mom? Just the bond we have! I melt every time he stares at me when he eats.
This week we: got back on a normal sleep schedule which is nice! We're also working through his gas/allergy/formula issues and have had a pretty good week so far on just the similac sensitive instead of having to go to the alimentum. Fingers crossed that the sensitive is enough!!!

Best part about being a mom? Knowing we made this beautiful baby and that she's mine and I get to be with her all the time.

Milestones you think LO is close to: Needs work on holding head up--doctor said more tummy time. But in a sling or on your shoulder, all he does is look around. He just hates tummy time :-(

Favorite activity/toy: We have an orange Pearl Jam benefit concert poster that he loves to stare at. If he's crying, he'll even stop to look at it.
Best part about being a mom? How sweet and curious the little guy is!

Weight: 6 lbs 7 oz at birth, 9 even at the LC's last Thursday
Height: 20" at birth, longer now but beats me what the number is
Breast or Bottle?: breast though we may start a formula supplement soon, though it kills me after all this hard work. I won't be able to pump enough to keep up at work and I want to find a formula that we can use for a bottle or two before he's actually away from me without the option of breast milk if he refuses
Clothes Size: newborn and 0-3, though those are still big
New Milestones: he finally latched without the shield and is doing great!
Milestones you think LO is close to: no idea, he's always surprising me
Sleeping (long stretches, STTN etc): we've had a lucky 6 hour stretch and a few 4 hour ones, but mostly 2-3 hours
Favorite activity/toy: He really likes sitting in the Boppy and babbling at the walls and fan in the early morning. I like it to because it's his smiley time
Best part about being a mom? being able to comfort him when no one else can

Height: He was 20" at birth, no idea what it is now

Clothes Size: Newborn, some 0-3 but they're pretty big on him still
New Milestones: He's slowly starting to focus in and hold eye contact
Milestones you think LO is close to: Actually focusing in for longer periods, maybe smiling
Sleeping (long stretches, STTN etc): He was sleeping for 3-4 hours at night, but the last few nights it's been more like 1.5-2, I'm guessing it's a growthspurt
Favorite activity/toy: He doesn't really do much of anything, lol. I suppose his favorite thing to do currently is eat.
Best part about being a mom? Knowinng I created such a perfect little person. Although I'm still having a hard time having someone so dependent on me, I love him enough to pull me out of my funks, he's just so perfect.
This week we: will hopefully be able to get out of the house, although it seems doubtful since he's got the sniffles and it's expected to rain ALL WEEK LONG, uggh

Best part about being a mom? Knowing that this is a life that my husband and I created. We are responsible for him. I love being the one that has to feed him because I feel a very strong bond with him

Weight: He was 7 pounds 11 oz at birth. He dropped down to 7 and I think he's just shy of 8 pounds now.

Clothes Size: Still newborn. We can put him in 0-3, but they're pretty big
New Milestones: He lifts his head up all the time, especially when lying on your chest.

Sleeping (long stretches, STTN etc): He gave us almost 4 hours last night. He has to go back for a weight check on Friday. Unit then we don't have the official go ahead to let him go longer than 4 hours without eating.
Favorite activity/toy: No idea.
Best part about being a mom? Staying home with Max and my husband. We'll never have this time again.
