I would say no. I asked my nurse practitioner about it a month ago, she said it's totally normal in the 3rd trimester. Baby is getting bigger and running out of room. I will say that I'm thankful he's getting quieter as he settles in down there, hopefully he'll drop soon or realize that he can't rest his feet on my hip bone. Haha.
I just got up a minute ago to copy something and got the worst RLP. I limped down the hallway. She has been sticking out a foot lately. It puts a lot of pressure on the area where it hits, and that is painful. Thankfully she moves down when I need her too without kicking ( my son would always kick when I tried to push him down). She kicks hard most of the time it doesn't hurt. I'm glad this one doesn't practice gymnastics routines while I'm trying to sleep.
She's always been super good, doesn't jab me while I'm sleeping or anything. But she dropped this weekend, quite a bit and now there are certain spots that just scream when she moves!
Poor baby, she's running out of space to party.
Mama of 2: one who grew in my womb, both who grow in my heart.
LO has finally turned, so I get feet and knees in my side and fists (I guess) into my pelvic bone. It really hurts when LO moves a certain way and one side of my uterus is tightening and the other is fine.

I had a few kicks last week during work that hurt, they definitely weren't BH because it was a sharp jab, and then it was gone instantly with no tightening. I think LO is just getting stronger and maybe struck a tender spot.
Re: Ow!
This. Although I have had some RLP type pains that have come back.
This! I can't believe how often she kicks me in the ribs!
