I have posted several times looking for help on boy names and I think I know why I cant decide. I need some names that seem more masculine to DH and I. I love love love names like Milo and Sullivan, but theyre just too "soft" for our true taste.
Some names that seem super masculine to me are: Maxim, Brutus and possibly Magnus. Samson too, but the NN Sam is NMS.
Help me find some old school, one of a kind man's man kind of names. Only 15 days until my due date, so help me!

My DS#2 is named Pierce. I think it is very masculine. It actually means "rock" and Pierce Brosnan is also very masculine imo.
DS #1 is Reed. Again, I think his name is solidly masculine. Good Luck. FWIW, I like Milo a lot, but would maybe consider Miles and nn Milo?
My LO is Anthony Joseph.
I love that name!
My husband loves the name Ajax. I hate it. But, I do have to admit it is quite manly.
Hugo and Alexander (Alex) are a few of my favorite strong and manly names.

When I think of strong names, I think: Bruce, Anderson, Pierce, Angus, Andrew, Brutus, Broderick, Dominic, Maximus, Andre, Lukas, and Jonas (ruined by the boy band)
Were you the one who said you liked unusual nature/tree names? If so here are some that fit that theme.
Arlo, Hawthorne (Thorne), River, Lawrence/Lorenzo (after Laurentium in Italy known for its trees), Oakes, Canyon, Oren (pine tree), Adler (eagle)
Yep, that was me, I like River, but its like naming a girl Rose if you like flower names ya know? Oren is pretty cool too. Thanks.

We found a lot of manly/strong/traditional names by searching Catholic Saints. There are quite a few gems in there that are uncommon, too.
And might I suggest Charles Henry, but I'm kinda biased! But we get tons of compliments on it.
What about:
Sabastian
Samuel
Emmanuel
Hunter
We know some people who named their son this 2 years before the presidential election. Now everyone who hears his name thinks it is "Barack." They have to correct everyone. I guess they do sound similar!
