PW (sorry): Is it possible to have heavy bleeding during early pg?

I have a girlfriend that is on the pill and she pretty much takes it every single day although admittedly will miss one or two here and there but its not too often.  Two weeks ago she had her period just like normal and it came at the end of her 3 weeks of pills.  She had normal bleeding (somewhat heavy) and it lasted what is typical for her.  In the last week or so she has been extremely run down, constipated, nauseous pretty much all the time and very bloated.  She has been pregnant before and has described her symptoms to me as feeling just like she is pregnant but she just had her period.  Is it possible for her to be pregnant?  I told her to take a test just to be sure but I'm just curious.

sure it's possible if she didn't take her pills correctly. taking a test is the best way to know for sure!

Always take a test, it's always possible.

 BUT

When I was on the pill sometimes that would happen if my body decided it didn't like the hormone levels in that particular pill.  Sometimes I would be on the pill for months and months.

This also happened to me when I had a cyst rupture, just FYI.

Anything is possible but she should take a test. DS is a result of starting a new pack of pills 3 days late.
