Update to antibiotic/BF dilemma

Thanks to Hey Jellisy I called the folks at InfantRisk.com and they were very helpful. Basically they told me it's safe to BF DD with the antibiotic I'm on. The nurse I spoke to said doctors are hesitant to say it's OK because of the fact it is expressed through breast milk but apparently they give this antibiotic to preemies for certan medical conditions and the amount of medication found in babies who get it through BM is less than the preemies get. There are no reports of adverse side effects. What a wonderful resource. Thanks, Hey Jellisy! I'm off to BF DD now!
