Any knitters who live in SW Austin?

I turned 80 a couple of weeks ago and signed up for knitting classes - HAHA.  I have mastered the basic knit stitch but cannot get the freaking purl stitich to save my life - I keep ending up with extra loops on every row.  so I am making a tent shaped scarf - not cool!! 

I am wondering if there is anyone I can meet up with the give me some pointers.

    sweet!!!

    My schedule is C to the razy this week but mercifully this is my lat week of craziness. 

    I work up norht full time but maybe we can meet up one evening or on the weekend for an hour or so.  What works best for you?

    Sounds fun!  I'm in Round Rock, but would love the excuse to go to Hill Country Weavers.  :)

    Evenings usually work best but I could meet on the weekend, too, especially if other gals want to meet up. 

    Next week is wide open for me.

     That would be great. We've had knitting gtgs in the past. We're long overdue for another one.
