Anyone crochet?

I knew how to crochet as a little girl, but haven't done it in probably 20 years.  I decided to reteach myself via You Tube so I could make hats for my little girl.  If anyone has any sites or blogs with patterns they like, would you mind sharing?  Or if you like specific yarns, etc. I'd love to hear your input!

I took a class over the winter and have made a few hats.

There is a really good hat pattern in it, but most of the projects are way advanced (but very cute).

If you go to Joanns, they have little free pattern cards all over in the yarn section.

Join Ravelry.com! It's an amazing site and such a great resource for crocheters (and knitters). You can search through gazillions of patterns, from free patterns available online to those in books and magazines, plus they have a huge database of yarns and really helpful message boards.

Ditto ravelry.com! Also check out https://littlebirdiesecrets.blogspot.com. She has some really cute tutorials for crochet flowers and embellishments for free, and then an Etsy shop with really affordable and cute patterns for hats, booties, etc.
