I started having pain on my right side when Cooper was 4 weeks old.  Lc said it looked like a yeast infection so I saw my ob he said the same thing did the cream on my nipple for week.  Pain was gone for a few days then came back.  My ob looked and said the infection was gone and it could be the latch.  The lc helped me change his latch but the pain never went away.  I called the lc since the pain was getting worse she said it sounds like I still had a yeast infection called my ob he put me on a pill for 3 weeks.  I took one pill weekly for 3 weeks.  Took my last pill almost a week ago and now the pain is back.  Im going to call an lc to see if his latch is wrong,  It looks fine to me so is there any thing else you can think of that im not?

are you treating lo as well? otherwise you might just be passing the infection back and forth, which sounds possible if medication clears it up only to return a while later. hth

ditto, sounds like you re-caught thrush. Make sure you treat both of you, and sterlize all pacis, bottles, pump parts, etc.

Yes we were both treated. I still have the meds for him and the cream for me. Should I do one more treatment on both of us? I also have 2 refills for each.
