ok, my ?
whenever i've cut coupons from those circulars they say limit one per customer, soooo how do these people use so many of the same coupons? does the store ignore the 1 per person rule or do coupons in other parts of US not say that?
thanks
and yes, the show deeply disturbs me but i can't stop watching

Re: extreme couponing ? (yes another post about this show)
I'm totally hooked on this show, too, even though I find it kind of disturbing. I'm all for saving money, but I don't think you need to fill your house with stuff. That's just crazy!
As for your coupon question: Most say "limit one coupon per purchase." What that really means is one coupon per item you buy. For example, if you have 3 coupons for Snapple, you can use all 3 coupons as long as you buy 3 Snapple. Some stores may limit how many like items you can buy. I've never run into this problem b/c I usually only buy 2-3 of anything, but I think I've seen limits of 4 like items somewhere.

Yes, this!!!!
i still need to check out this show.....
Yeah, they are pretty ridiculous. Who needs 30 bottles of mustard? One couple had enough tp to last them 40 years -- seriously? Or what about the lady (one of the twins) who stocked up on diapers before having kids? That one probably struck me the most.

I'm in the same boat...and it has made me clip a few coupons but by and large I don't buy alot of prepackaged stuff. I don't think there's any way those people are eating very healthy..but I get if its a choice between having food and not I'd buy prepackaged stuff.
i watched a little bit last night -
what amazed me was the lady bought 25 boxes of some frozen dinner because it lasts for up to a year.
who needs 25 boxes of anything, first of all. Who has room for that? Also - frozen meals arent all that good for you...
