how would you pronounce this? its the hawaiian name for Dylan and i want to make sure its Key lana does that sound like a boy or girls name to you? We are looking for somthing that sound hawaiian and has meaning behind it and the name dylan does. thanks so much!!

  • I would say Kil-ahn-a.  I am not familiar enough with Hawaiian culture to know what names are masculine/feminine, but the -ana ending says girl to me.

  • I would instinctively pronounce it kil-awn-uh. And I think it looks really feminine. Like PP, I'm not familiar with Hawaiian names but if I saw it on paper, I would assume it was a girl.

    i would think it was Hawaiian and not really try to guess boy or girl...but i like it.
