Apparently they changed the induction date to Monday when she would be 40 weeks.
She started having contractions at 4:30 this morning, went to the hospital around 11, and he was born a little before 5 after only a couple of pushes. Easy labor.
There was no way I wasn't going to see pictures or details about the birth. They were all over facebook within an hour of him being born. The first picture I saw I thought he looked exactly like DS which made me bawl. But then as more and more showed up, he really doesn't look like him. They have the same skin tone and were both born with a ton of jet black hair, but that's it. They don't have the same features at all.
I'm doing a lot better than I thought I would be. Truthfully, worrying about him looking like DS was what made her pregnancy so hard on me. I'm relieved to have it all over with.
I definitely have the cuter of the two kids
. Seriously though, I do.
ETA: Apparently she texted him the other day through a friends phone (he has a RO against her) saying that she was stressing over whether or not to put his name on the birth certificate, and if she should give him his last name. Really? You guys were never even in a relationship. He's made it very clear he wants nothing to do with you and that he doesn't want to be a part of this child's life because of the circumstances. Why would you even consider giving him his last name?
Can you say crazy?
Re: F/U Not ready for this
"There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
Awww lol thanks! What's really weird though, people say the crazy girl and I look a lot alike. Even my mom says this.
