Intense irritability

Hi ladies. My LO is 5 weeks old. I'm having horrible irritability. I can hardly stand to be around DH. I'm always snapping at him or getting mad for no reason. I have my 6 wk check up Friday and Plan on bringing it up. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if it's considered PPD when it's the only symptom.

    I still feel like this sometimes.  I think that each person deals with the stress and anxiety of having a newborn differently.  Some people are sad, some people have a shorter fuse.  I was a may-ja bish to DH. SadMy dr didn't consider it PPD for me, but she did say that it could be a side effect of the BCP I was taking.  Not sure if you are taking those yet, but I would mention it.

    I am having this problem to. My OB said that it could be my hormones still trying to regulate. She said that after a month of being back on my BC and I am still like that to call her to be seen again. GL :)

    I'm coming out of lurkdom to say.

    I feel this way and I'm also angry. I can't stand my baby. I love him but I really don't like him.  My counselor says I have PPA.
