This is probably an old discussion, but tell me about it if you are drinking it and TTC. How much should you drink to get the benefits? I found some at the natural health food store but its mixed with blueberry (I was scared it wasn't going to taste good, so I got a blend). Are the blends less beneficial?
Re: Pomegranate Juice?
Pomegranate juice can help to thicken your lining which would help with implantation. Pom brand juice is expensive, try Minute Maid Blueberry Pom. Please avoid other blends, most don?t contain enough real pom to help your lining. If you don?t like the flavor, try adding some sparkling water. Drink 8oz of juice a day from CD1-O. You can drink it past ovulation, but it won?t impact your lining at that point.
Kdgteacher: ok good to know! thanks!
And if you see this post, how do you know how much really pom juice is in each one?
The common recommendation is 8 oz per day from CD1-O. I think the Minute Maid-type blends with lots of sugar, etc. aren't necessarily as concentrated as Pom Wonderful, etc., but it sounds like the kind you got might be fine. If I were you I'd read the label and make my best guess.
I also just have to say that there's little empirical research that this actually works, but it's a very popular thing to do on this board. I'm actually trying it despite that for the first time this cycle because I wanted to throw something new into the mix. Just wouldn't have felt right if I didn't add that in; make sure you do your own research and decide for yourself. Good luck!
Ahhh, look at the label.
Yep. See my post above. I think its a load of BS, probably started by POM itself.
That wouldn't surprise me. A quick google search can show equal info as to it aiding fertility and causing issues with TTC. I don't understand why people jump on the pom wagon and think it is going to make a huge impact on TTC.

I've wondered this about a lot of things on there, especially pineapple core. Yes, it contains bromelain, but I spent a lot of time researching and couldn't find any link between bromelain and implantation. Maybe we should start thinking about rewriting it?
