My DD is 4, and she likes the sit n stand. Granted, she gets in and out, but she definitely loves hopping on when we're zipping along, or snacking in the stroller, or being able to sit in the shade.
My DD doesn't mind sitting in her stroller. When we go for walks, she'll walk for a bit then ask to sit in the stroller for a while, then walk again later.
DD loves the stroller and complains when I try to get her to walk places. I am trying to get her to stop riding in it, but it is an up hill battle. We do walk a good bit, for exercise, but also for doing things. I am trying to work on making her be happy walking without the double when we are just going a half mile or so. She is not a big kid, about the size of an average 3 year old at 5, so I think I might expect less from her than I should.
If my DD had a choice, she would be pushed around like a princess in a stroller all day long! LOL! We threw out her old stroller and haven't used it in months before that. We make her walk now that she's 4.
DD1 still likes it and often asks to take it when we go for walks. However, if I have her in the stroller at, say, the mall or at the zoo, anywhere we're not continuously moving, she's in and out, in and out.

DS#1 is 4 and is not interested in the stroller. Of course, he'll be 5 in Sept. so it's coming to that time. He will get in it ONLY when he's tired of walking or needs a little break. Usually, that happens when we're at the state fair or festival where it's hot and we're walking a lot (we'll take the double stroller).
DS#2 is almost 3 (July) and he'll sit in it if he has a snack that he's trying to eat. Other then that, he wants to walk like his big brother. We have a lighter stroller just for him.
My 4yo DS sometimes likes the stroller. We have a double stroller, which we mostly use for snacking and walking (they snack, I get exercise, and we all get outside!). Every now and then he whines about wanting to get in the stroller instead of his younger brother, but in general he prefers to walk. There are times when it saves my sanity to have him strapped in!
