Just wondering if you planned your 2nd pregnancy to have kiddos two under 2? I want to start TTC in January which means we would have a possiblity of having a baby and a 27 month old. I want this but I am nervous. LOL
Unplanned. Our current ds is 7 months 4 months adjusted. His b-day is Oct. 2nd of last year. This baby is due Oct. 11th. With our ds being born a micropreemie (24 weeks 1 lb 8 oz) we just wanted to get him home and enjoy him.
Though I do not have 2u2, we desired that. I stopped preventing when #1 was 6 mo and got a BFN just after she turned 1. I had a m/c, so we TTC again right after we could. Alex & Taylor are 26 mo apart and are the best of friends, seriously. Dylan and Taylor are 29 mo apart. Again I had a m/c in between. Dylan is still young to be interacting with her sisters, but I bet they will soon!!
I am due 10/26/11 and my babes will be 23 months apart. We planned it because we felt we were ready, we want them to be close with each other, and we had some medical issues that may have prevented a pregnancy in the future. January is a very fertile month for many people I know- we started TTC in January and we were pregnant within the month! Good luck, it is totally worth it!
Totally planned! We were hoping for a surprise BFP, but unfortunately, no dice. We went back to the RE when DD was 9mos old. It took us about 6mos to get a sticky BFP.
both...lol- it took us almost a year to get pregnant for DS- so we decided to stop preventing thinking we would get pregnant in 3-6 months- we got pregnant our first try- the first month...they will be 22 months apart...

I had wanted my two right about two years apart, so DH and I had planned to start TTC when DD1 was 1. I ended up getting a very surprise BFP when DD1 was only 4.5 months old - and my girls are less than 13 months apart. I didn't want them quite this close together, but I can say now that I feel completely blessed that it happened the way it did.
Yes & no. We were hoping to have our kids around 2 years apart-- after dealing with infertility while trying to get pregnant with DS, we did not use birth control after his birth, thinking that we would probably have trouble conceiving #2. Surprise! BFP when DS was 5 moinths old. The kids will be 14 months apart.

It seems like I'm the only one that was unplanned. This was definitely a surprise! I didn't know until I was 16wks and I'm single, living with my mom and unemployed.

Very much unplanned! I'm happy that things worked out the way they did, but if things had gone the way DH and I had originally planned, we wouldn't have even started talking about TTC again until this summer.
Yes and No - we were never super careful after DS but decided to completely throw caution to the wind when DS was 8 mos old. We figured not really "trying" it would take awhile to get pregnant. Instead we got KU right away and the kids will be 17 mos apart. Never what I imagined our family to be but I am excited and knowing so many people with miscarriage/infertility problems am happy to be able to have this baby even if the age gap is not exactly as we envisioned.
We wanted them around 2 years apart...figured it could take a while, so we started not preventing and got PG the first try! They are 20 months apart, and we love it!
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
