Ok so I feel like I have read that if the child's head goes above the back of the seat it is time to change. Is this true or am I nuts?
I just noticed this morning that suddenly Addison's head is above the back. I swear I just checked last month or the month before and she was still about 2-3 inches below. UGH! LOL We have a Britax Roundabout which goes up to 40 lbs and 40 in. Addison is roughly 27-30lbs and I don't know how tall, but will find out tomorrow @ her 2 yr appt. (she is tall though so she may have hit 40 in. w/o me realizing.) If she still w/in the ranges and if she is do we need to worry?
We were hoping to hold off on a new seat till the new baby but I am kinda thinking we need one like tomorrow if I find out she is 40 inches tall. LOL Thoughts?
Re: car set gurus- I need you!
I'm assuming she's forward facing. I believe the roundabout says they've outgrown it when their ears are even with the top of the seat.
And yes, it is very likely that she's outgrown it. The roundabout has a VERY VERY short shell.
If she's rear facing, she has definitely outgrown it as there needs to be an inch of shell above her head.
Ya she is FF now.
I figured as much! Okey dokey! Making a trip to Babies R Us this weekend! Just needed confirmation!
Thanks!

since she's FFing already, look at the graco nautilus or the britax frontier.
