I don't need any diapers, I really don't. But there are so many cute ones, DD doesn't have many girly ones, and there are new brands I want to try. I don't spend much on anything else so financially it wouldn't be an issue, but I have a hard time justifying buying diapers we don't need, especially when you are talking in the $28-35 range.
If you give yourself a diaper allowance, how did you come up with the number?
Re: What's a semi-reasonable diaper budget?
i won't spend more than $4-5 on a used diaper and i won't spend more than $12 on a new one. i hardly ever buy new ones or diapers in general. i use what we have and only buy more when we need it.
i'm only buying diaper stuff now bc we didn't cd ds until 6 months old, so we don't have any newborn stuff.
Right now I only buy diapers and wool out of my paypal whose balance is just from selling other diapers and wool
Before DD was born though, I just bought diapers out of our checking account.
This is what I've started doing, now that I have a decent stash up and running. It's so much more convenient that way, and DH doesn't have to see any more $ leaving the checking account ... I just have to explain the fluffy mail to him :-)
