F you Enfamil!! I was feeding M her bottle and saw these two little black specks, looked like poppy seeds, floating around in there. She was pretty much done anyway so I stopped feeding her and put her down to nap. I called Enfamil and their response (that the guy read straight from the script) was "Black, brown, orange or yellow specks are somewhat common in our powder formula. It is burned particles of formula that stuck to the side of the canisters during the drying process."
WTF!?! You mean to tell me that this company knows of this problem, has a scripted response about burnt formula, and thinks nothing of serving it to infants and newborns?!? OMG! I was pissed! So then I said that I wasn't ok with serving burnt food to my baby as I wouldn't eat it myself. Basically all he told me was that they don't want me to use their product if I'm unhappy with it, so I asked if he's telling me to just stop using Enfamil. He backpeddled and then offered to send me a free tub. grrrr
