It always astounds me the number of people who hear that I'm dairy free and wonder if I can have eggs. Despite the grocery store's classification, eggs are not dairy.

so, i'm reading a pregnancy book right now and it has a protein counter in the back and i was just wondering about that. how did they get lumped in with dairy? you'd think, in a nutrition guide of all places, they'd be in with the meat & other animal products? bizarre.

I'm shocked they get lumped in with dairy on a nutrition guide! Huh. I get it at the grocery - they're both stored the same way, so they're part of the same department, but anything other than that is beyond me.

A little boy at the preschool was lactose intolerant and his parents were LIVID when they found out we were giving him eggs at breakfast. They said, "Didn't we tell you guys no dairy?!"
I probably missed something but why again are you off dairy? I know several nursing moms who cut it out and DS has a dairy sensitivity.
Yeah - #2 was having some painful gas and some skin issues & congestion that pedi & chiro both said might be dairy related, so we (what am I saying 'we' - I ) cut out dairy and things have been better, so, here I am, constantly asking dairy free questions!
