Anyone use their BOB Stroller on the beach?

Hi ladies!

 We will be spending the next week in Mytrle Beach and was wondering how the BOB Revolution did in the sand?  We are staying on a kind of main road so we will only be able to jog/walk on the beach.  I am trying to decide if I should take my travel system or the BOB.  TYIA!

i have heard you can but i've personally never tried it. it would HAVE to be better than your travel system though, i would think.

I would never use a travel system (with plastic tires) on sand. Ever. I've never used a BOB, or my Baby Jogger (with pneumatic tires), but they're supposed to be much better on all-terrain. I know they're definitely better, even on city pavements, and so I'd guess it'd be great on teh sand. But it depends on how much you want to do walks.

YES! We just got back from the beach this week and used the BOB in the sand. It wouldn't be great if you were trying to jog, but it definitely treks through the sand WAY better than I think the travel system would. I got it out today to go for a run and there was still sand all in it....ahh, missing the beach!
