Apparently...

... we are bed sharing parents.

Unintentional bed sharing parents, but bed sharing nonetheless.

But it was kind of cute to wake up to her trying to latch through my shirt and bra this morning. Stick out tongue

I really need to work on getting her into her bassinet at night. Either way she sleeps great, she is just too darn cuddly.

  • We are too.  Unfortunately, in 3 months we've only had one night where she slept anywhere else besides in bed with us.  We tried for awhile, and she ended up crying every night until 2 am when we'd give in and let her sleep with us so we could get some sleep, and DH and I ended up fighting about it and blaming each other.  Finally we gave up, and she sleeps great with us.  And now I've gotten used to cuddling her all night, and peace has returned to our marriage.  We'll have to move her soon, before she realizes how good she has it...and I'm not looking forward to it!

  • Lucas sleeps next to me in the RnP most nights, but when MH goes out of town I usually fall asleep with Lucas on my chest. One night I leaked and I woke up to him head bobbing down to my boob and it cracked me up.

  • We sort of are as well. I was always so dead set against bed sharing and look what 3 months of little sleep does. Most nights Hannah starts off in her PNP or RNP, but by the 3am feeding she is in our bed. Last weekend we bought a bed sharing basket type thing so we can't roll over on her. I sleep so much better with it.
