All About Kids in Mason?

Anyone have any opinions or experiences with All About Kids in Mason?  My SIL is planning on sending her 13 month old there when she starts a new job next week and wanted to know if I had heard any reviews of the place.  I told her I had no idea, but I would ask around.

Let me preface this by saying that I have no useful advice/experience for you.

That being said, we recently toured the one in WC. I didn't love the director, but I won't have to deal with her all the time. It was nice. It's big, and they change rooms almost every 6 months. All of the teachers I met seemed really nice, and the kids were all pretty happy. They are close to the top of our list, mostly because it's convenient (good reason, huh?!). I cornered a mom in the parking lot as I was leaving the tour, and just asked her about her experience. She was very positive about her experience there, so that was nice to hear.

See.... I told you nothing helpful. I'm just rambling, because we've been looking everywhere under the sun, and I like to put my 2 cents in when I can.

That's too funny.  She said the thing that made her feel the most comfortable about the place was that she really liked the director.

She tried to look up ratings, reviews, etc but said she was having a hard time finding very many things because the center is fairly new?

Yeah, they just opened that location.... within two years for sure, but I don't know exactly. I know when I was pregnant with Finley in summer of 2009 she was still working at a different one off of 129 because the Mason one was still in the planning stages.

Jenny is a sweetheart. Her own son goes there too if that makes her feel any better

Also - how'd you like your new OB?

Loved the new OB.  Like night and day different from my old one.  I go back tomorrow for my second visit.  So thankful I made the switch!

Did you search ODJFS?  The site goes down every night after 11 if I recall, but try tomorrow.  Those reports are pretty telling.

Kel - I don't know if she checked that website.  I think she did, but said there weren't a ton of visits/inspections to go by since the center is so new.
