I must be really sheltered from alcohol because I always do a double take (read: not a judging side eye it's just not in my realm of normal) at the posters who have drinks each night. I buy wine to cook with and then end up drinking it with dinner. It's a rare occasion for me to have a drink at home and not for a special occasion.

Re: Do you have a drink every night?
Before I started WW, yes I did. Now I choose to spend my points elsewhere, usually.
I side-eye that you side-eye people for having a drink each night.
No, definitely not every night.
Some nights I think to myself "Hey! I'm an adult! I can have a wine and relax!" and I do sometimes. I always feel like a grown up when I do it.
But usually I'll choose a diet pop over booze.
I would say I have at least one drink at least 4 nights per week. When I go out though I drink A LOT.
I agree, lol. Now if someone was getting drunk every single night, I would raise my eyebrows. But a beer or a glass of wine is no big deal.
And I agree with the WW...we're going to the beach in 2 weeks and any point-hogs are out the window!!

Done trying
I never used to have a drink every night. And while it isn't every night now, it is something I'm trying in order to boost my supply. I know this has worked for many others. To be clear - it's after DD is down for the night and after my last pumping session. I'll only have one and she won't be awake for hours, so I don't see it as an issue.
ETA - I'm really more of a wine drinker, but dark beer is the recommendation - so I've been looking all over the place for good dark beers. Anybody have any recommendations?
I always forget that I can have a drink. Is that weird? LOL. I'm 28 and still forget that I can just grab a beer with dinner. I'm like Beccs and feel grownup, haha.
Lately I've been drinking one beer at night to try to boost my milk supply. But usually, no, I don't have a drink every night. Mostly because it makes me so tired.
The two men in my life. Oh, and I have a husband too...
Before I had M, I rarely drank. Now, I have a drink 3-4 nights a week. Only one per night, though. Beer or wine.
I did the same thing my first year of law school. I could constantly stress about everything that needs to be done. Having the drink is my way of signifying that the day is over, what's done is done, and it's time to relax.

CORRECTION! I just checked out your post below. CONGRATS!!!!!
Nursing went better today! Still not back to normal, but he actually nursed at bedtime without screaming!! I'm so happy! Thanks for asking!
I had DH read all your tips, and we are both on the same page. I really appreciate you taking the time to type all of that.

Good for him! That is awesome!
No worries! Glad to pay it forward. I received a lot of help when I was struggling.
Thanks, lady!
I said it wasn't a side eye I am just surprised by it is all. It's just not something I grew up with.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
With all this threesome talk tonight I need a drink. I feel like my head is going to explode.
Under normal circumstances I'd say I have a drink once or twice a week.
This for me, too. Although I'd admit sometimes its 2 or 3, but always once A goes to bed and never to get drunk.
A drink and a Christmas tree.
I do usually about once a week, just one drink with dinner. It's rare I have more than one glass of wine or one bottle of beer though, and it's definitely not every day or even close to that.
My parents drank every day. Not to get drunk necessarily, maybe only a drink or two, but every day regardless. I consider them to be alcoholics, because I can only imagine if they had no alcohol for a day what chaos their day would spiral into. I suppose I'm being a bit judgmental of people who have a drink every day, but living in a family where I was exposed to this every day this is just how I see it.
Probably about 5 nights a week I'll have a beer in the evening. It seems to help my milk supply.

I tried (read: TRIED) to finish a beer Sunday night. Could not even down a whole bottle. Before that, I had 4 drinks sometime in February at a birthday celebration. Between now and when Violet was born, I probably have had a total of 10 drinks.
I have lost my appetite for alcohol, I suppose.
I drink about one beer a night. Like LemonBlush, it seems to do good things for my supply and it's very relaxing.
And if I'm hungry, one beer will give me a good buzz until I have some popcorn or something.
